We arrived at Bramwell Station just before 4 o'clock, had a pretty good run through from Chili Beach. Filled up petrol at Bramwell Junction at $2.10 per litre. The ute was pretty thirsty as was down to 69 kilometres left. Bramwell Station is a working station that has learnt to diversify with a combination of traditional cattle property operation of Brahman across cattle, Tourism support & they also hold the contract with the shire for maintaining a substantial section of the Development Rd. was nice to freshen up with a hot shower n to wash our dusty clothes from past few days! We signed up for Happy Hour, an info talk then a home cooked country dinner followed by entertainment from 2 sisters from the Sunshine Coast. What a nice relaxing evening chatting with other travellers, good food n entertainment. Also got some washing done so that was good. Bit of a restless night's sleep as the cattle yards were full of weanlings who bellowed a lot. Now on our way again n planning to check out some of the Old Telegraph Road, Bill n Anne have taken the track in to c how far they get, we went in a little way but Ch has decided for us to go round n come in the northern end instead....will see how that unfolds....
