When we got to Gold Coast late in the evening we located the "Wet 'N' Wild" waterpark and spent the night in the back of the car in their car park. Up early the next morning and near front of queue for entry. Forgot about school holidays so place was pretty busy. So we drove from Rockhampton to Rainbow Beach where we would be based and briefed for a night prior to Fraser Island. Nice drive here through a valley of huge pine trees and once again very picturesque.
