After leaving Robe River we came across this ute in the middle of nowhere that had a spot of bother. It was just over the brow of a hill so it was just a quick stop for a photo and away again. A few k/m's further down the road Steph did you look to see if there was anybody slumped over in the front seat, I hadn't even looked!!! How bad was that! We just assumed it happened in the night and that all had been taken care of. It doesn't bear thinking about but as we had passed quite a few vehicles we carried on. That vehicle had bull bars on and will still probably be written off so just another reason to be extra careful and always be on the look out for animals especially cattle as there are usually no fences out here. Further down the road there were more long skid marks and another dead cattle beast ( a much larger one ) but this time no vehicle. It just makes you wonder what hit it, a road train perhaps???
