Day 11: A night of a diesel generator going all night and I do remember that from seven years ago but we were all up and gone by 8 am. Balladonia is just a stopover point for everyone it seems. Day 10: Horse neighing outside our van woke us this morning rather than kookaburras - much more peaceful sound for an alarm clock. Still windy but a bit of a different direction. Day 9: Well what a night that was. Wild winds and torrential rain and the most long lasting loud thunder I think I have ever heard. Radio reports this morning said there were reports of earth tremors in the Eyre Peninsula but they put it down to thunder.
