Day 53: Left Esperance and headed north to Norseman 200km. Stopped for lunch at BP servo cause that is the only decent thing in Norseman. Why when it is at the end of the Nullarbor and every tourist has to go through does it not do something with the town, really sad I think. Anyway, turned eastward and another 100 km till we reached Fraser Range Station. We have been meaning to stay here the last three trips but have skipped it due to time constraints etc b...

Day 9: Well what a night that was. Wild winds and torrential rain and the most long lasting loud thunder I think I have ever heard. Radio reports this morning said there were reports of earth tremors in the Eyre Peninsula but they put it down to thunder. I thought it was due to the flat arid area it just rumbled and bumbled for such a long time at full blast. The lightening was a blast thru our brain cells and eye balls so we were awake a lot.
