Got up at 7.15am and had breakfast at the hotel then packed our day packs and walked to the train station to catch the train to Uppsala.

Arrived in Uppsala at 10.30am and walked in to the centre of town to catch the bus to Gamle Uppsala. Looked for bus number 2 but could not find it. Walked to Tourist Info and they told us where the bus left from. Walked to bus stop and caught bus to Gamle Uppsala.

Walked around the burial mounds from 500AD then visited the church and the museum before catching the bus back to Uppsala for lunch at a kebab shop before walking down to the cathedral.

Continued on to the castle with views over the town then walked back to the train station and caught the train back to Stockholm. Had a coffee at the hotel then went back to the room to rest. Went out for dinner, ate at Mongolian Barbeque, then back to hotel for showers and bed.
