Had a sleep in, ate breakfast and then set off on a walking tour of Ljubljana. We walked down Slovenska and then down Copova to Presernov Square and the Franciscan Church.

We then crossed the Ljubljanica River over the Triple Bridge and walked along the collonade past the market to the Dragon Bridge before walking back along the river to the Cathedral of St.Nicholas and on to Mestni Square and the Robba Fountain and the Town Hall.

Crossed the river and went to Kongresni Square with the Ljubljana University and Filharmonija, then walked across to Presernova via Subiceva to the National Museum, past the Opera House and National Gallery to the Church of St.Cyril and Methodius.

After a break for lunch we took the funicular up to Ljubljana Castle which had great views over Ljubljana and the surrounding area from the castle tower. We returned to the hotel then went out for dinner eating at Sestica which was quite good and reasonably priced.
