Got up at 7.15am and had breakfast at the hotel then walked down to central station and after working out how to get a ticket caught the train to Hillerød to see Frederiksborg Castle.

We walked through the town centre to the castle and went on self-guided tour. Walked through the chapel, Great Hall and various other rooms of the castle the ended to tour with views across the gardens at the rear of the castle.No flash photography allowed insode the castle so hrd to get any clear shots without a tripod. Also, had to leave bags etc in a locker so we ran out of video camera battery three-quarters of the way through the tour!

Walked back through the town stopping for pancakes for lunch then going to catch train on the Helsingor. We waited at the platform and then there was an announcement in Danish and everyone left the platform. Not having any idea what was happening and the train due any minute we sat and waited. Eventually a bus driver yelled out that the train was cancelled and that his bus was the replacement. Boarded the bus and travelled on to Helsingor.
