Just a short journey of 170 miles up the A9 to inverness for the marriage of Iain MacKinnon to June Paterson.

Service was in Chapel Street FP Church and conducted by Rev. George Hutton.

Reception was at Drumossie Hotel which has been upgraded since I was last at a wedding there. I always prefer small, intimate weddings and this was an excellent occasion, with opportunities to catch up with old and not so old friends and relatives. The food was fantastic and the speeches focussed and mercifully brief.

A wee ceilidh(or gathering) back at Balloan afterwards was the perfect end to a great day out.
