Travelled to Wellington today! Stopping off on the way at a big carrot monument, and also a massive corrogated iron welly (or gumboot!)! Once we checked into our hostel we headed to the Te Papa Museum which the the NZ National Museum and is meant to be really good.... AND FREE! It was really good with lots of interesting things such as a giant squid, an earthquake simulator, some very cool digital wall you could put photos onto and edit them, and lots of Maouri things such as a waka, meeting house, and a tradional house. Then headed with the group to the Malasian place we went to last time because it was so cheap and amazing!
