Today we left Franz Josef and headed to Makarora! It was a pretty miserable day and because of that we didn't get to stop at the mirror lakes which was a little dissapointing but we did get to stop at the Haast waterfall which was amazing!!! Very high! We got to our hostel where we were staying in triangle house!!! And there were no bunk beds which was great!!! A few of us went for a short walk up to the Haast River which was very pretty then headed back for a nap to recover from Libby' birthday night! Dined out in the bar for tea where I had lamb chops with gravy and mash and................ they not only gave lots of gravy but also ........... MINT SAUCE!!!! I would go as far to say in was definately one of the best meals so far on the trip!!!! After a close darts game which got a little competitive and a game of killer pool we settled down to a night at karaoke where we belted out a few tunes including Pink and Whitney Houston and the boys did a great rendition of Westlife!!!!
