A whole day in Abel Tasman today! Me, Selina and Tom went ocean kayaking for the day while Libby and Andy spent their time on a private yacht with some other people from our group. They saw lots of seals and even a couple of penguins!!! We kayaked out to Split Apple rock (see photo), then onto Coquille Bay for lunch (ham sandwiches... AGAIN!). We stopped at Apple Tree Bay later on which weas really pretty as there was a lovely lagoon behind the beach.... its safe...

Today we caught the ferry again (a very early one!) from Wellington to Picton and then headed over the north of the South Island to Abel tasman National Park. On the way we stopped at a winery in the Marlborough region ... only $2! Tried a few white wines and a red one too! Had another group BBQ in the evening.
