Headed to Barrytown today! Did an hours coastal walk along Cape Foulwind where we saw quite a few seals though you really had to concentrate hard to see them! Lots of big waves here too! Pancake rockas was the next stop! These are rocks with lots of horizontal lines across them so they look like pancakes stacked up... hence the name! there were also a few blowholes here too! After arriving at Barrytown we had a roast dinner (lots of gravy too!) which was delicious!!!!!!!! Barrytown is a small town on the west coast of the South Island with only around 3 houses. It is basically the place where we all have a big party to get to gell as a group, and take over the only pub in the town. The night also have a fancy dress theme and ours was cross dressing. So me, selina and Libby dressed as guys (Sam, Simon and Edward!) and Andy and Tom dressed up as girls (Annabelle and Tammy!!!) with rather short skirts I must say! haha! It was a great night!
