Travelled to Wellington today! Stopping off on the way at a big carrot monument, and also a massive corrogated iron welly (or gumboot!)! Today we got up early (its going to be like that every day now on in NZ... wohoooo!!!) and set off to Picton where we would catch the ferry to Wellington. We managed a couple of stops on the way: 1) A seal colony.... saw some really cute baby seals! 2) A waterfall... can't remeber its name but it was around 30m high and was very pretty!
