It was all about Bondi Beach today! However the weather was not great. We sat on the beach for about half an hour, where we saw a couple of good surfers pulling some moves, and then left because it was raining and windy. So we got our hot chocolates in at a nearby cafe and chilled out there for a bit before heading back to the hostel where we chilled out for the rest of the day! x

Today we walked to Oxford Street, and then along to Paddington Market. There were lots of lovely things to look at, nice paintings, jewellery and clothes. As we are on a budget we didnt buy anything! But it was nice to look around. Next we headed towards the Aussie Football Stadium, and next door was the Cricket ground. We arrived in Sydney today and it was such a beautiful sunny day!!! We started with a walk around Darling Harbour which was a nice area. It had lots of lovely looking restaurants and bars... we managed to resist not going in any! Then we walked over Pyrmont Bridge which crosses this area of the harbour. After a full day of hiking to the lighthouse and back yesterday, we decided to chill out all day at the beach today! It was a nice, hot, sunny day. We arrived in our luxiourios brand new hostel in Byron Bay last night nad had the best nights sleep ever! Today we wealked up to the lighthouse and just beyond that to Cape Byron which is the most easterly point of Australia. there were amazing views from here and we tried some FABULOUS ice cream which is one of the top ten ice cream makes in Australia!
