Arrived early morning into Hervey Bay... had a very entertaining American bus driver for the first half of our night Journey! Today was laundry day... we chilled out loads too! Walked to the beach and then had all you can eat pizza back at the hostel where we chatted to a few people who were going to do Fraser Island the next day. Having an early night as we have to be up and ready for 6.30 am!!!!!

Hit some hard waves today! 1m swell! They were very scary! Me and Libby screamed a little! Me and Selina were very sea sick afterwards! Went to Whitsunday Island and saw Whitehaven Beach. Then Sailed on adn stopped to do snorkelling. Sailed on again and stopped for the night at Mae's Inlet. Tea and snacks were awesome again! Sarah x

Checked out of our hostel and it was raining sooooooooooooooooo hard! Very cloudy... no sun at all! WE hung around our hostel in the morning and then headed towards the harbour... we were all soaked to the skin by the time we got there! Our boat was called SV Whitehaven, there were around another 20 people as well as us and 3 crew called Robbo, Hugh and Will. We got assigned our beds and we were in the kitchen! Overnight bus was ok in the end! We all slept very well on it except Ben. Checked straight into our hostel... the room was included in our Whitsunday/Fraser Island Package tour .... it was a bit of a shocker at first! Saw a spider on the floor and the beds and floor were dirty but once the cleaners arrivedit was much better! We sorted out the Whitsunday trip then chilled by the beach and in the evening we cooked on an outside bbq by the sea! Beefburgers! Sarah x
