Hello! I thought i'd give you an update on how the birthday celebrations went. It was lovely. Firstly Andrew presented me with a big surprise of cards and presents from my family which i was not expecting at all! Many thanks for those. Early start at about 7am and by 9am, thanks to beautiful clear skies, we were all kitted up to jump onto a helicopter! Sarah, Selina, Andrew and i flew over the gorgeous Franz Josef glacier. The scenery was truly unbelievable....

After a lovely lie in, mud masks from Rotorua, and a 12.30pm start(!!!!) we headed to Franz Josef. Stopped on the way at Lake Mahinapua for a walk by the lake and through the rainforest then landed in Franz Josef!
