Auckland to Paihia (The Bay of Islands!) today! Got a new driver today whose nickname was Number 2. Drove over the Auckland Harbour bridge and got some amazing view of the city. Stopped off to hug a 850 yr old Kauri tree (these are huge trees, the biggest has known to grow to 33m in diameter!). Then had a caffine stop. ........ To be continued!
