A whole day in Abel Tasman today! Me, Selina and Tom went ocean kayaking for the day while Libby and Andy spent their time on a private yacht with some other people from our group. They saw lots of seals and even a couple of penguins!!! We kayaked out to Split Apple rock (see photo), then onto Coquille Bay for lunch (ham sandwiches... AGAIN!). We stopped at Apple Tree Bay later on which weas really pretty as there was a lovely lagoon behind the beach.... its safe to say this definately made Tom's day!!! The kayak back was mind over matter and we were pretty shattered afterwards but me and Selina still had the energy for a walk! we walked along the coastal path with Steven and Thomas from our group and reached Tinline Bay and got some awesome views and saw people horse riding along the beach too! tried to see a sunset but it didn't really happen.
