Farmer Morren At Last

Hey guys I thought it was time I did a new blog as its been a while. From where I left off last time, Vinepower promised me work and 10 working days on from this I still have not been given any work from them which has really pissed me off the cheeky b*****s. But lucky for me the dairy farmers came in one day saying their farmer wanted a girl to work for him to do the milking so they told him about how amazing I am and I gave him a call and we had a little chat and he said the job was mine and as long as I work like a b**** and knuckle down he will keep me on for my 12 weeks regional work, he then said if I do stay until early October I can stay for longer then anyways as its silage time so thats canny hes paying me $20 a hour and he reckons I'll be doing around 40-50 hours a week which is good. I work from 5 or 7 am until 10-10.30ish or basically whenever we finish up after milking and cleaning and then I come back at 1.30 to get the cows in then we milk them ones then clean up then off home anytime from 6pm. So its pretty good. its 11 days on and 3 days off so bring on tirdness. So finally I am getting some more days done of my regional woo hoo I am happy as larry its so nice having to get up to go to work in the morning.

But anyways more of that later, one day last week I was sitting in the hostel chilling for a change and Alex was like hey fancy a trip to Bunbury? and I was like hell yeah. So me, her and Lydia went it was so much fun! Its like 1 hour away maybe further and it has real shops! like Margaret river has only a Just Jeans which isnt even that good a shop anyways. Bunbury has Cotton On which is everyones all time favourite shop! Its cheap and good! Bunbury also has a K Mart which is amazing its like asda minus the cakes. it sells bloody everything but the clothes n shoes are cheap like primark so I was in my element. I ended up splashing out on some new boots that were like 9 bucks as I have flip flops, gum boots (wellies) or trainer pumps here so nothing to wear to the pub basically! and also when it rains my feet get soaked! bad times indeed! So yeah happy days with me new boots haha. I also got some knickers as I cant afford to buy any pretty much anywhere else in Australia. and I got a vest with a pretty picture on for 3 bucks. SO cheap I was over the moon to go shopping it rarely happens here. There was so many streets with real shops so we got dead excited. We decided on our way home we'd go for a nice glass of wine from a vineyard we want to go to but we went the wrong way back so we missed that.

During the days in the hostel after harrassing the agencies for work I chill out on the decking area rain or sun as I hate sitting indoors and every day the dairy farmers would come back for their lunch either 1 by 1 or in a two and a one and I would be sitting waiting for them to entertain me with their stories I would make them cuppas if they wanted and they would tell me tales of the cows. It was a sad day when I was in Bunbury and they missed me haha. That day Dan also got finished from the farm (I didnt steal his job I swear). So we ended up all going out to comiserate with him and to drown our sorrows. We ended up getting pretty messy and were playing pool in the settlers, Dan was buying crisps non stop and at one point we had a beer drinking competition. I had been drinking champagne, wine and cider before this oh dear. As the pub is also a bottleo we got some beers when it was closing to drink back at the hostel me and Lydia went ahead and went on over back home without the boys so we were sitting in the tv room having a cider and then eventually when the boys came back it turns out that Dan and Cody were now banned from the pub due to Dan drinking a beer in the pub after they'd shut and then they call got in a argument with the door man as he poured Dans beer out so it ended with Cody calling the door men and manager a Nazi! Always a dramatic moment to be had in Margaret River with us pesky backpackers. So we continued our party in the TV room where we all pretty much fell asleep then headed to bed. The next day my head was banging!! like all day long!!

I spent most of the friday sunbathing and moaning about my headache and then eventually me and Chris got some goon to share and we continued with the card games and drinking before ending up in the settlers again (Dan tried to get back in and failed) the pub was good though we were all dancing to this man who was on guitar who was well cool! Me and Paige went and befriended him afterwards he was lovely he gave Paige a signed CD for free even though he was selling them for 10 bucks and we were photographed with him for his fanpage haha fame at last!!

Randomly one day at the backpackers this weird French man had checked in (not Vincent) I have no idea what his name was he was a proper weirdo he kept asking me to drive him places as I have a car and he couldnt be bothered to walk 20 mins, I refused all of the time. One of the days Alex was lending my car for work anyways so I had an excuse another day I told him I didnt have the car then blatently went out in my car in front of him haha. He eventually propositioned me, saying that as we couldnt get work we should go in my car togther to look for farms to work on, and he had a tent so we had somewhere to sleep. Haha I was like erm no way hose. He was a propa freaky person I wasnt amused at all by him I told him like 5 times that would not ever be happening. Eventually he left one day thank god and I didnt even say bye haha. I am so nice.

As per my last blog and the nightmare with our million dollar mansions, and us wanting to move out and Janine and Sam leaving. We still were wanting to move out so one of the hot boys from the hostel Richard whos italian and beautiful and some of his not so beautiful friends had moved in to a holiday cottage down the road and they are fully furnished so I went in one day to have a nosy to see if we could move there too, I was under the impression they had 3 bedroom cottages, there was now me, Adam, and the 3 Dairy Farmers Vince, Dan and Sam wanting to move out however when I got there they only had 2 bedroom ones but they do sleep 5 adults 2 in one room and 3 in the other so I figured it might do for the time being, but unfortunately when I got there they had no availability for us, they did have a one bedroom cottage for 2 adults which would have been perfect for just me and my boyfriend... haha thats what she said as she assumed if I was to be living with 4 boys one had to be my fella. So I nodded and agreed but said it was awful for the dairy farmers at the hostel as they get up so early and with us living in a ten bed dorm in the hostel it was rubbish for them as they werent getting much sleep due to all the drunken antics at the hostel and I stressed alot that they werent happy about being woken up from drunk people all night when they are up at 4. I laid it on really thick. Of course I didnt mention that it was mainly us 5 being the worst guests in the hostel and the dairy farmers wake each other up all of the time haha. I also was like 'Its horrible living in a hostel at my age but I just dont have any other options at the moment so i'm just trying to deal with it best I can. haha she was like 'oh you poor love' she proper loved me massively so she got me to write down my details so if one comes up she can call me so I can check it out immediately. On the top of it she wrote 'very nice girl, deperate to get out of backpackers'. Haha, so proud of myself there. still waiting for her to call but she did say it was quite a busy time for them with the pruning season. So you never know what might happen. Currently still in backpackers with a chance of maybe moving to the woods in basically a campsite with dormitries so i'm hoping to be going there very soon!!

On the Saturday Ben came to visit Margaret River to see me and Kate!! I was so excited to see him as it had been almost 4 years!! time flys its scary. He came with his girlfriend Claire. We didnt spend as much time catching up as I would have liked but hopefully he will come back again or i will see him on the way back up the West Coast. We were all chilling at the hostel that day then as Kate was house sitting in Cowaramup in a dream mansion too, we all decided to head on up there for a bit of party time action and all sleep there and have a night away from the hostel. Some of the boys that weekend went to Perth for a night out as things are so bad here haha. They went to look for hot girls as the hostel is mainly full of boys and about 7 girls, which is perfect for us girls haha. So not the whole crew went to the party mansion but it was a good night to start with all was going well although the tv wouldnt work so we couldnt watch the Rugby Wallabies Vs Lions. So we were gutted as we were gonna play a good old drinking game to it. nevermind though. Irish Connor made us all Spaghetti Carbonara bless him it was amazing. and we got on the card games. Not sure what went wrong but eventually Ben and Claire went in their bedroom to have words or something as she didnt seem to happy. We all went outside via a trip to play on vintage rocking horse, vespa and trampoline! Good Times! we were all sat out the front as some of the guys are smokers and we were marvelling at the stars. We were in the middle of nowhere so the stars were amazing. Like unbelieveable. You could see the milky way! Honestly I've never seen some many amazing stars everywhere the whole sky was full. We were all proper buzzing when we realised how beautiful it was!! So lovely!! When the others arrived later on I took Chris, Posh Matt and Francesco for a moment outside to enjoy the stars with me. Meanwhile somewhere along the lines it all kicked off between Ben, Claire Vs Kate. Claire smashed a wine glass so glass and wine all over the floor and Kate asked her to clean it up and she was like yeah I will and started slamming doors so kate wasnt happy as it wasnt her house obviously and its a dream mansion! So next thing you know Ben and Kate are proper arguing mental. It ended with Ben and Claire leaving in the middle of the night to head home which is a 2-3 hour drive. Ben had been playing drinking games all night too, and Claire hadnt. But for some reason it ended with Ben driving off. Kate tried to stop him running after the car opening the door and he got out and pushed her away it was awful. and off they went. We were all dead worried. I text him saying he better text me when they got back and he messaged in the morning saying they stopped in the town to sleep before heading back which is good but still so silly!!! Stupid!! So yeah that was fight night in Margaret River, it was a shame as I wanted a nice catch up with someone I went to school with from the age of 4 but nevermind hopefully that will still come! That night Francesco wasnt staying as he hadnt been drinking so I ended up going back to the hostel with him Chris and Posh Matt as I had tons to do the next day in preparation for work so off I went. We got back around 2am and the hostel was FREEEZING like terrible cold. I went to bed in 2 hoodies, 2 pairs of tracky pants and could not sleep all night. Sams alarm went off at 4.30 and I was still awake. It was the coldest night ever I swear it would have been warmer outside. I kept checking I had 2 blankets on my bed but I did I was convinced I didnt, this hostel provides fleece blankets not duvets - booooo! I really love a duvet its a proper luxury item to me these days.

So the next day after a terrible sleep in the arctic, me and Alex decided to go to the beach to check out Surfers Point as we'd heard the camera crews had been in for a competition that morning so we went and had a lush walk along Prevalley Beach all the way to Surfers Point which was so good and beautiful. There were surfers out, proper Pro Surfers too so they were amazing to watch. After a nice walk and chill out we headed back to town and went for some lunch together which was nice for a change as no one can ever afford to do lunch here - especially me but I was still on a celebrating my job moment.

The next day I went to the beach again with the boys and Paige, Chris and Alex went snorkelling and saw loadsa mint fish, they were attempting spear fishing minus the spears. They were using a kitchen knife tied on to their hands, it was hilarious. Obviously they didn't spear any fish with their crazy method. Me,Posh Matt and Paige just chilled out on the beach enjoying the winter sun! We then headed over to Gnarabup Beach and we ended up on a amazing view point right at the top of the cliffs looking over the beach it was totally stunning, probably one of the best views in WA it was proper lush. I def want to go back there when its nicer weather it would be a good place for a nice picnic!

We've also started a curry club as there is a indian right next to the hostel and Tuesdays are cheap $12 for a curry so there is a few of us who go, me, Dan, Cody, Adam and Sam went first and now a few more go, its BYO which is cool so we go there ask for vindaloo 12/10 hotness so its really hot as Australia don't do hot curries it's not like the toon! The woman loves our crazy requests for hot food. And we get very drunk! It's so nice to eat in a real restaurant like real normal people!

Anyways that's enough for now, I've just moved into a cabin in the woods so I will explain all of that and my dairy farming tales next time. Much love xxxxxxx
