A lovely lazy day by the beach today, our feet were hurting a little from the flip flop walk yesterday!
Still can’t believe my eyes as to how beautifully white this sand is and how crystal clear that sea is. It’s incredible!! Them being so environmentally friendly and conscious around the tourist areas it shows!
We chilled there pretty much all day, got absolutely dosed in sand because of the north easily wind blowing at us, it was everywhere in our hair and ears, all over our bodies. Bloody disgusting!
Stayed until sunset partly because a Filipino dive instructor was walking by and decided to sit down and talk to us. Not to sell anything but to preach and tell us how mad monkey hostel the guy that owns it isn’t any good and gives hell for the locals because of the loud music and only certain men go to the hostel because they want to get with girls and then banging on about a prostitution case and a rape case and we need to be careful. Basically he was bitter that they had good business, he was giving us a friendly piece of advice that was like a bad record on repeat for over half hour.
We managed to make an escape after sunset and walked home for some food and water before finding a bar on the beach that had live music and happy hour until 9pm. A few Cuba libres and G+Ts were consumed I must say! And... I pulled the singer haha. She kept singing and pointing at me - it was a little awkward and weird haha.

Another chilled day in the island of Boracay, a late wake up call (the rum must of helped put me to sleep) then a look outside to our surprise it actually wasn’t cloudy or raining so we headed straight out onto that beach and sunbathed the hell out ourselves (after breakfast of course!) we tried the sunny side cafe and Ellie had chocolate pancakes it was huge! And she only had half a portion size because a full portion size was made for 4 people. Haha she couldn’t eat it all because it was too sickly. She had food envy of mine though, smashed avocado and poached eggs - bloody delicious!!
The sea still very clear the clearest I’ve seen and the sand feels like flour it’s so powdery, we found two little friends. Two local kids probably about five years old playing in the water, they soon took a liking to us so piggy back rides and throwing them about in the water was on the cards, of course! They absolutely loved us haha, so in kind gesture after we had got out the water and ‘no more play, we tired now’ they brought us presents! Not just any presents... rocks! Rocks, dead coral and big pieces of concrete from the sea haha. What lovely gestures, they were so proud of them! Haha. I did proceed to have shells, they were broken and tatty but they were shells haha. I played for about an hour with the shells with them, ‘mammy shell, daddy shell, baby shell’ ‘1,2,3,4,5,6,7,....9’ haha I’m like the pied piper, Ellie managed to not get any visitors her side of the town after they gave her a few pieces of dead coral and concrete.
You can’t write our stories I tell you...
We were having a quiet one tonight, an early dinner on the way home and a Netflix and chill evening! Last day tomorrow! Woohoo!
