Boy did it rain last night! Holy cow.... I think it sounds louder on the tin roof but s*** it was loud, to top it off whilst I was awake from it I seen a huge fluffy spider climbing across the roof above my bed... that freaked me out! Then one of the Irish girls stopping in our room came in at like 4am banging about and crackling her crisps leaving the door open. Everyone was sighing so when she went to the toilet I got up and shut the door on her. Bloody nuisance!
Today was our last full day in the Palawan island, we walked the 2.6km to vanilla beach. Another nice beach with a lot of potential, they’re building a big complex and plush beach huts into the cliff face which will be lovely but expensive when they’re done!

We were there to go on the zip line which took you out over the water to a little island off the beach. Butfirst we had to climb the bloody mountain to get there. As if we weren’t already sweating our t*** off from the humidity. When we got to the top we were even more of a mess I had sweat patches everywhere in random places on my playsuit! It looked awful!
But the zip line was worth it, it was cool to fly over the beach! We got to the end just in time for the rain to hit so we were lucky!

Only thing to do in the rain is sit and have a drink at the first bar you see so that’s what we did! Only trouble is it didn’t finish raining until around 2pm so we had to drink more than anticipated - what a shame!

We sunbathed for a while when the sun eventually came out and then walked back home. A solid 7km today which is much better than some of our other days lately!

We were having a lazy one this evening, not really feeling hungry we FaceTimed and went for a snack before bed.
