The journey only took around an hour and we had to get a taxi from the bus stop to the hotel, they spoil it for themselves these taxi drivers. Well a 1.30am wake up call was absolutely awful! What on earth made us think this was a good idea? We only had three hours sleep each! Our driver was waiting out on the road for us at 1.45am, he was early! We had to pick another two couples up before we drove an hour to the start if the village where we sat in this coffee plantation garden and had banana and chocolate pancake and a cup of tea for breakfast. The Shuttle bus dropped us off at our hotel. The little streets give this town a really nice feel to it. There are gorgeous boutiques and little shops full of clothes or jewellery, ornaments and paintings. They all have a touch of Balinese culture, gorgeous fabrics and patterns around the wooden pagoda on the restaurants with lovely settings! I already like it here! We had to check out this morning from the superior room because we only had one night booked and they didn't have any rooms available so we booked a night in another hotel around the corner because we weren't ready to move on again yet.
