We got up early this morning and after watching a man from the village finish building our bamboo raft we had some breakfast and then prepared for the last day of our trek. Trekking Day 2 - We got up early this morning, had a hearty breakfast and prepared for another day of trekking. Before we left we gave the village children some of the toys we bought yesterday, their eyes lit up as they saw the plastic animals and we had a rewarding 10 minutes playing with them. Arrived in Chiang Mai safely after a noisey and restless journey (its all part of the adventure!) As soon as we'd arrived a little lady (mamma honey!) jumped us and asked us where we were staying! Nice lazy day today (so lazy in fact, we slept until midday!) Once we were up, we did some packing and went to the pool for our last taste of luxury! Then it was off to lunch and the internet cafe to catch up on the emails. 4pm arrived and it was time to head off to the train station to board the train to Chang Mai! We had a nice 12 hour journey in front of us, but the singha (the size of a wine bottle) lifted our spirits!
