We were up and about early so that we could get to the post office so the girls could post home their shopping! (mostly being wooden elephants called 'George'!) We then got a tuktuk to Kata beach which is on the west coast of Phuket Island and within 20 minutes we were there! We booked in to a nice guest house (which also turned out to be cheap!) sorted ourselves out and then headed out and about for a wander! We went straight to the beach and all looked in amazement as it was so lovely - best beach yet! Then it was back to the guest house where we booked a trip to 'James Bond Island' for tomorrow and also booked our ticket to get to Phi Phi Don on friday. In the evening we had our nicest meal yet at a gorgeous place caled 'The Kata Garden Resort' it really was a lovely meal and the interior was stunning! We then looked at all the shops and stalls and came across a mini-golf! Well we had to didn't we! it was such a good night, we had the best laugh and the course was totally amazing! It was all based around a dinosaur park and there were ponds, rocks and there was even a life-like volcano! Some of the shots were hilarious - Baz taking 10 shots on 1 hole was a classic as was both the boys failing to get a hole in one when both of us girls had mangaged to do it! The night belonged to Mart though with Jody coming a very close second!
