Today we were up and out early so we could visit the war cemetary before we left to head down south. The cemetary was really well looked after and was a really nice memorial to all those who died. We all had a good look round and then headed back to the main street so we could check our emails and have some lunch before the bus came to collect us. We got up early this morning, and after a rushed breakfast we headed off in a minibus on a 'Death Railway' tour. Our first stop on the tour was to a waterfall up in the hills. The waterfall was amazing, it was set under a green canopy of trees and the rounded rocks it tumbled over made it look like some sort of indoor swimming pool extravaganza. Today we headed west to Kanchanaburi - Luckily our guest house in Ayutthaya was a short walk from the bus station, so after a lazy morning we got a shiny, happy disco bus!
