Arrived in Chiang Mai safely after a noisey and restless journey (its all part of the adventure!) As soon as we'd arrived a little lady (mamma honey!) jumped us and asked us where we were staying! After a chat and looking at some photos we decided to go and stay in her guest house - she also has a travel agency and we were booked on a trekking trip in minutes! After a short drive to the guesthouse we had breakfast and then headed up to our room for some much needed sleep! Then at 6pm it was time for our pre-trek meeting, where we got to meet the others we were going with and also get the lowdown on what we would need to bring with us. After the meeting mamma honey took us to a really gorgeous thai restaurant by the river called 'Differ' - we all had a chat and got to know each other, had some great food and the lager was flowing (so much in fact that barry fell off his chair!) Then a really good local band came on and did some numbers - mamma honey was straight on the dancefloor, taking kirsty with her! We all had a bit of a boogie and then it was time to head to the night bazaar before going to bed to get some rest before our big trekking adventure!
