Whilst the boys spent the morning chillin', us girls got up way early in order to take a stroll to the 'nearby' town of Thong sala and have breakfast there. After a lovely breakfast in the Moon Dolphin (our new local!) we all headed down to the beach! As nice as the little resort on the west coast was, it was too quiet for us and so this morning after breakfast we headed south-east to the backpacker hotspot; Haad rin. Our journey to Haad Rin was quite an adventure, a truck-like taxi takes up and down steep hills - so we were clinging on for dear life! We were awoken (after quite an uncomfortable night!) at 7am by the coach driver telling us we'd reached the drop off point - a small cafe in Suratthani where we would have to transfer to yet another bus! Today we were up and out early so we could visit the war cemetary before we left to head down south. The cemetary was really well looked after and was a really nice memorial to all those who died. We all had a good look round and then headed back to the main street so we could check our emails and have some lunch before the bus came to collect us.
