Thursday 18th to Monday 22nd October 2018 - We left Yanchep on a chilly rainy day, took in some more of the National Park before heading to Perth to spend some time with our friends Tina & Gary at their beautiful home in the country.

We spent the days waking in the mornings to musical bird song before visiting:

Kings Park and the Botanic Gardens that had panoramic views of the Swan River, Darling Range & the CBD where we walked along the paths taking in the numerous plants and flowers.

Fremantle a port city with Victorian buildings and is known for its maritime history. It is the home of the Little Creatures Brewery and the WA Shipwrecks Museum where we saw the remains of the Batavia ship wreck.

We enjoyed our time with Tina, Gary and their family catching up and reminiscing over dinner and a glass of wine; what a great way to spend a relaxing few days.
