The bus from Bangkok to Chumphon wasnt was pianful as we thought. We managed to get seats right at the front which meant more leg room and we were right next to the TV. The seats reclined nearly all the way back but still we didnt sleep great. We set off at 9pm arriving at 5am. We then waited 2 hours for the ferry and watched the sun rise whilst we waited. The ferry was really busy and took about 4 hours to get here.

The hotel is ok. It has a pool and is right on the beach, but the beach isnt great. Its completely dead here. People only come for the full moon partys and theres nothing to do as the monsoon has just hit! So we are drinking lots and playing pool lots! The half moon party is tomorrow which should be good but hopefully the rain wont spoil it. The hotel is full of English and the menu is English. They have sunday roasts!!

Nothing much to add really as all we are going to do is drink and eat. Already looking forward to Ko Samui as we are both craving Thai food believe it or not. Might go for a swim in the rain later! yey! still rather be here than home :) (although I bet the sunday dinner isnt the same).
