First impressions of Krabi were not good! We arrived by flight and the transfer to the hotel didnt turn up. I tried ringing the number for the hotel but it said it didnt exsist! Luckily some Thai lady rang them and they picked us up 1hr 30 mins later!! The room was red hot and seemed really basic. But we had just been staying in a 5 star so it was always going to be a let down. The room, however, has grown on us as the aircon is good and the bed is comfy.

The weather hasnt been too good so we have a massage everyday and the lady who works there gives us free fruit and gave Rikki a free French Pedicure. We go to the same bar every night as its cheap and the live band is really good. They play The Beatles mainly. We met a German couple who wanted to play us at pool. England 3 Germany 0. :) We drank all night and got in about 3 ish! We met the couple the next day and spent all day with them and went out for a meal with them that evening. They have gone home now so I dont have to socialise as much now. Id rather people watch and let Rikki do the talking.

We have been eating street food everyday as its so cheap and it tastes better than the restaurants. We go to the same stall everyday and the lady pretty much knows what we want. 2 Main meals, 1 starter and 2 drinks costs about 4 pound.

We go to Phi Phi tomorrow which is apparently beautiful and you can swim with whale sharks. We also hope to visit the Tsunami memorial site as most of the island was destroyed by it.
