We were up early in Manila to get the bus to the airport which took about 2 hours and we were tired as we didnt sleep very well, mainly due to the gunshots going off all night! Not cool! The flight was ok though as it took just over an hour so we arrived early afternoon. We then got a tricycle (a motorbike with a side cart) to the hotel as there are no taxis. We landed at clark airport about 3pm and took a 'Jeepney' to the hotel. A Jeepney is like a stretch limo version of a 4x4, only not as nice. Clark to Central Manila takes about 2 hours so we were suprised when the jeepney arrived 10 minutes later at the hotel. We were unsure whether or not it was the right hotel but after showing our booking information they showed us to our room. We were in Angeles city!
