We checked out of our room in Manila at 1pm but we didnt fly until 8.30pm. So we went to the cinema and watched the new Bond movie, which was brilliant! Hands down the best Bond movie ever. We were up early in Manila to get the bus to the airport which took about 2 hours and we were tired as we didnt sleep very well, mainly due to the gunshots going off all night! Not cool! We landed at clark airport about 3pm and took a 'Jeepney' to the hotel. A Jeepney is like a stretch limo version of a 4x4, only not as nice. Clark to Central Manila takes about 2 hours so we were suprised when the jeepney arrived 10 minutes later at the hotel. To get to Jakarta we had to fly from Sandakan to Kota Kinabalu, then KK to Jakarta. The flight from Sandakan should of been at half 2 but we didnt leave until 1 hour later. Luckily the next flight wasnt until 6.30pm. However the plane broke down!! So we were delayed 5 hours!! Never the less the airline gave everyone a KFC voucher so we got a free meal!
