The hotel stinks! Its a best western so it should be good but its not. Oh well it was cheap. KK is not that good. Old run down buildings fill the skyline except for the odd palm tree. We had a walk down the harbour front to see all the fishermen at work before heading back to the hotel as it started to rain. Luckily we only have 2 nights here. We spent the rest of today booking flights to our next destinations.

So here you are... Tomorrow we fly to Sandakan (Borneo) to see some Orang utans then fly back on Saturday to KK. We have about a 2 hour layover before flying to Indonesia. This wasnt originally part of the plan but we decided last minute to go for it. We looked at Japan and Korea, also Taiwan but it was too expensive. So we head to Jakarta for a few days before flying to The Philippines via Singapore. We go to Puerta Princessa and Manila for just over a week. Finally we head to our final destination, Hong Kong. Never the less we plan to do a ferry trip to Macau too. Then we fly home :(

So nothing else to say about Borneo so far. Lets hope Sandakan and the Sepilok Orang utan sanctuary is much better than KK.
