Day 47 - Eighty Mile Beach to Albert Tognolini Lookout Rest Area (525kms/7hrs) We were up early so the boys could go fishing before check out. The beach was so different as it was a high tide of 7.12m. There were lots of people on the beach with their 4WD and beach buggy’s all fishing. Day 46 - Broome to Eighty Mile Beach (371km/5hrs) We were up early and drove out to Gantheaume Point to admire the view and we were lucky enough to see our first whales for the trip breaching in front of us and tail slapping. Day 45 - Broome Rog cleaned the car and then we realised Bronte lost her thongs so we went to Bunnings to swap our first gas bottle then drove back to The Port and sure enough Josh found her thongs on the beach. Day 44 - Broome We started our day in Chinatown. We looked at lots of Pearl Shops including Cygnet Bay Pearls where we saw the worlds largest fine quality white/pink round pearl at 22.24mm. We also looked in some other shops which the kids loved.
