Sue and Pete's Tank crawl take 3 2015
It rained all night and we woke to a cool grey day. We headed out of Flagstaff on Route 66 past forests and green fields full of wild daisies. At close to 7500' elevation it's very different to around the Salton Sea where much of the time we were below sea level.
At 8.15 when we turned off Route 66 to head north to the Grand Canyon the skies were again blue and it had warmed up to 19C. To the west there's another big wind farm, I wonder if Aust will ever get its act together to create renewable clean energy like they do here.
We drove into the park, the entry has gone up to $30, luckily last years annual pass is still in effect
