Sept 7 We slept in big time not getting up til nearly midday. We sorted ourselves out and went back to Duncan's for breakfast before heading to the spy museum. Sept 6 The alarm went off today but we turned it off lol Pete missed the first few talks so we went to grab some breakfast at Duncan's before getting in some shopping at Dirks in the exhibit hall. We overslept, turned out Pete hadn't finished setting it lol Pete missed hearing Sanjay speak but grabbed some fruit and raced down to again explore the exhibit hall. I opted to take my time and went for a walk in search of a good breakfast. I found an amazing cafe with the best eggs benedict and coffee so I spent an hour or so there racing the paper and enjoying my breakfast. We had an awesome day, the first of the conference. We went to see several speakers; Jihn Coppolino, Joe Yaiullo, Kevin Kohen, Charlie Veron (a brilliant fellow Aussie) & we caught the end of Tony Vargas & Richard Ross. We finally managed a break and grabbed a quick lunch in our room between speakers and then toured the exhibit hall. The alarm went off at 7.30, up and dressed and across the road for breakfast by 8am. Quick cheap and easy Maccas breakfast right next door to the metro. Although unfamiliar we worked it all out pretty easy buying metro cards and getting to the correct platform.
