As is our usual way we were busy getting the business ready til after midnight and finally began to pack a little before 1am.
We got about 3 and a half hours sleep before getting up in time to pack a box of goodies for a customer in NT.
Our always reliable friends, Val and Grahm picked us up at 6.30 for the drive through peak hour traffic to the airport. Along the way we dropped Chads order off for the flight to Darwin and got to the departure terminal a little after 7am.
The whole check in process seemed less crowded and therefore easier this time and in no time we were ensconced in the QANTAS airport lounge, far above the hustle and bustle of the terminal enjoying a delicious leisurely breakfast.
The flight was pretty much the same as always, a little bumpy here and there but uneventful.
