It was an amazing day. We spent the day in the Rocky Mountain National Park. We took the high road, soaring up over 12,000 feet often above the smallish pockets of snow left from last winter. We both slept really poorly. Pete was running a very high temp so we spent most of the night trying to get that under control. Today started out ok, we checked out a bit later than we have been at 9.30, grabbed a bag of ice from the local servo and we were on our way. The first hour was more red rock scenery to rival any in the parks including a road side arch. After that it gave way to agriculture; beans and corn with a fair bit of cattle and horse properties too.
