We slept well and woke to sunny blue skies with temps in the low 30's, very nice :-) After scrambled eggs and coffee in our room we set off with few real plans. Out of Boston heading for the sea we found several quite nice sandy beaches, gentle waves lapping the shore. We got packed up, washed the sheets and towels, remade the bed and set off about 11am. We took the long way around sticking close to the coast where we could passing very nice neighbourhoods, some with spectacular homes and lovely little beaches. We had a bit of a walk at West Haven Beach where several people were fishing. There are some gorgeous little towns and classic New England scenery, the ocean and lighthouses.
