Goodbye Bangkok!
Once again I will bid farewell to Bangkok, however I'm pretty certain it won't be for the last time.
I certainly want to return to Laos in High season, so as Bangkok is the gateway to South East Asia, I'm sure I'll be back.
I have decided to go and visit Ayutthaya for a couple of days with my Spanish friends, before we go our separate ways and I begin my journey south to the Beaches.
Yesterday we paid Chinatown a visit, and it did remind me a little of Beijing where I started my trip. The food was nowhere near as authentic, but nice all the same. (stick to Thai food in Thailand)
Unfortunately the evening was rain filled and due to an election, restrictions were in place for the sale of alcohol, therefore it was cut short.
I did feel better for it this morning, and after a breakfast of rice, pork, chilli and a fried egg (pictured) it's now time to begin our journey to Ayutthaya.
