On my second day in Ko Phi Phi I decided to take a boat trip around the islands. This included Ko Phi Phi Lei which is where the film "the beach" starring Leo Di Caprio was filmed. Take me to the beach! I am currently in Ko Phi Phi a small island on the south western coast of Thailand. It took 15 hours to get here from Ko Pha Ngan however thanks to two sea sickness pills that made me very sleepy, I slept for the duration of the night boat to Surat Thani (7 hours approx) and also the bus from Surat Thani to Krabi (4hours).
