The aftermath! A lot has happened in the last 24 hours. The most notable thing is the change in weather. The rain has now been replaced with broken sunshine. This immediately put a smile on my face and I went to one of the riverside bars and basked in the sunshine for a while. It's currently day 3 of the rainfall and signs don't look good for imminent dry spots. I seriously don't think I've ever witnessed rainfall like it. I'm really pleased I went tubing on day 1 as I think my tubing days are now over as it's far too dangerous with the constant rainfall. The main predicament I have is whether to move on up to Luang Pabang, or just get back to Viantiene. Either way my next plan is to take a plane back to Bangkok before heading south...

In the tubing! Day 1 of Viang Vieng was a little crazy to say the least! I was talking to two people on the bus ride here (Laura & Ross) and we decided to share the tubing experience together.
