Mt Elizabeth Station 30/6/15 Just an overnight stay. So peaceful out under the stars and woken by beautiful bird calls but oh so cold, a chilly 2.3 deg overnight. Manning Gorge 27/6/15 A short drive this morning, time to pull into Galvans Gorge, just a short walk in from The Gibb but worth it. A small waterfall and rock pool set amongst boabs and granite rocks and the downstream covered with water lilies. Mt Barnett Roadhouse is one of just several fuel stops on The Gibb, plenty of supplies available, even espresso coffee and importantly the current results for NRL and AFL. Silent Grove - Bell Gorge 25/6/15 Commenced the Gibb River Road this morning through Napier Ranges and looking forward to a challenge.
