Broome 12/6/15

First port of call was the car wash!!! Everything, including us was covered in red dust from Mt Augustus and Newman not to mention Tom Price and most of all Karajini NP. We found a nice park for our stay just a block back from Cable Beach. Broome was a good place to cycle, so Steve the adventurer led me to the Port and supposedly a beach side tourist track which resulted in us cycling in sand dunes to a photo shoot at Redell Beach. Nevertheless, 15 km later, we were almost home when a tyre puncture resulted!! Who needs a gym!! Some great places to eat and drink, Matso's craft beer well worth a visit, Malaysian at Cable Beach Resort, Shady Lane in Chinatown good for lunch , Zanders and of course The Sunset Bar Cable Beach for cocktails. We couldn't resist the Cable Beach camel ride at sunset , just magic by the turquoise crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean, followed by drinks on the beach. And of course -what woman doesn't come to Broome for pearls? .....
A few incidents at the caravan park when our camper was the unlikely choice for a tom cat to mark his territory!! A few hours spent to rid the smell and the cat. Our stay complete and just pulling out of the park, passed a bus stop and a resort when an Asian lady waved us down and came running with someone's ( name not mentioned) jocks( left on the hilux roof) and a large group of tourists yelling out " put your clothes on"!!!
