Kununurra 21/7/15 We return to the Lakeside Caravan Park to a powered site to enable us to charge up all devices and batteries ready for the next off road camping into NT. I think I will be celebrating being up to date with this blog !! It has taken some time to catch up with entries. The weather is warming up during the day to mid thirties and apparently we can expect the same across the border.

Dunham River 24 hr Camp 20/7/15 We took our time packing up to leave this morning. We are only staying at a roadside camp three quarters of an hour drive from Kununurra. The Bungles road has deteriorated since our entry four days ago. There are some crazy drivers about, particularly when driving on the corrugations and through the water crossings, speed at all costs. Bungle Bungles Caravan Park on Mabel Station 15/7/15 Stayed the night here just off the Great Northern Highway. Packed to the rafters with vans in powered and unpowered sites as they mostly can't negotiate the rough road into the actual Bungle Bungles , so opt to take a tour in or unhitch and self drive. Kununurra 7/7/15 After leaving the main station at El Questro this morning, we turned off to Emma Gorge which is still part of the station to venture up the walking trail to the gorge and waterfall. This is also exclusive accommodation with restaurant/ coffee and shop.
