Woke up to another beautiful day which, as the day progressed, by 4pm turned into a torrential downpour. We all walked Jean to her choir day and then at 9am went on a tour of the Rotorua museum. Woke up to a very beautiful day.. Not a cloud in the sky and nice and warm. Walked Jean to her choir event at 8am and then met up with Gary and Sunni as I walked back to the campsite. Woke up to a very drizzly day and left Taupo quite early. So early in fact that we were at Rotorua right at 10am. It was only a 76 km drive but lots of traffic on the road as it is the last long weekend in NZ before Christmas. It is the Labour day weekend for New Zealanders.
