Today was our first full day in Hong Kong. The plan was that we would meet up in the hotel lobby at 10:00am with Jenny Fung who is a friend of Gary and Sunni. Unfortunately, it was also jet lag time! As we crossed the dateline, the blog misses a day. We transited off the Vancouver to Hong Kong plane through another security gate to a long waiting area where we had to wait another 4 hours to board the flight from HK to Johannesberg. As I write this, we are 35,000 feet in the air just east of Kamchatka and approximately halfway to Hong Kong from Vancouver. We had about a 4 hour wait at Vancouver airport and saw several planes being loaded for various destinations in China Korea and Japan.
