Today we booked a trip to Abel Tasman National Park to go for a walk along the track which runs along the shore. The weather was overcast with some rain when we started but managed to stay relatively dry for the day. We were picked up by bus at 8:30am and taken to Kaiteriteri where we caught the marine shuttle and went up the coast to Totoranui and the back down to Torrent Bay where we got off the ferry and hiked about 8km to Medland Bay. We both had a great sleep. I am sure it was because we were both exhausted from the long drive south yesterday. More fireworks last night as NZ celebrates Guy Fawkes Day.
