10:00 update.
Good morning Beijing! :)
Last night we decided not to include The Great Wall in our trip and to take our last day in Beijing easy.
So, what we've planned for today is go out to Beihai Park, visit an architecture museum and go to a local theme park.

22:30 update.
Well, we're all done with Beijing and although we did not get to see all of its attractions (including The Big Wall and several temples), we did enjoy the sites we did manage to see (Tienan Man, The Forbidden City, The Temple Of Heaven, The Olympic village and more).
Tomorrow we're off to Xian (a 2-hour flight from Beijing) and we'll stay at the number 1 (!!!) hotel there (Sofitel Renmin Square) for 3 nights.
Unfortunately, this is the last of the free Internet we'd have over desktop computers, and from now on, we'll have to update you guys only using WI-FI, where available. In Xian in particular, there's no free WI-FI... . Oh, well... .
Today we took a 5 minute taxi drive to a nearby amusement park, which I is a total Disney rip-off. While it is cheap (you only pay for the rides you choose to take), it was quite extensive and we both enjoyed it (altough we got terribly sun-burnt - ouch!!!).
Around 15:00 we took the subway to Xidan, where we strolled around a huge shopping avenue, saw some cool things, had a bite to eat and returned to the hotel rather early, to wrap things up, since tomorrow starts rather early for us.
